This year's company away trip saw the team visit the city of bridges, Budapest! The three day trip started with an overview of Enabl's achievements over the course of the year whilst looking forward to future and growth strategies. Following this the team enjoyed some well earned down time including a walking tour and sampling some of the city's best food and drink. The trip was a great success!
Following a successful work placement period in September this year, Elise has joined the team on a more permanent basis through March 2026. Elise developed a keen interest for the built environment and more specifically delivering sustainable, healthy and vibrant communities, through her BSc Geography degree. She is keen to carry this into her role at Enabl through influencing effective place-making. Outside of work Elise plays lacrosse for a local team and enjoys spending time in the outdoors. We look forward to her contributing and bringing value to a variety of planning projects the team are working on.

This month the planning team at Enabl visited Saltaire in West Yorkshire, widely considered as the birthplace of planning in the UK. It was a great opportunity to learn from the past and the principles of place-making of which are still adopted today. The mill town is one of the earliest and most comprehensive examples of a planned industrial community, designed with the welfare of its workers in mind and laying integral moral, social and spatial foundations for development.

On July 11th, we had the pleasure of hosting Enabl’s 5th Summer Party – and what an incredible evening it turned out to be!
Held in the heart of Altrincham, the event brought together a fantastic mix of clients, colleagues, and industry professionals for a relaxed evening of networking, celebration, and summer sunshine. It was a timely opportunity to reflect on the growth of our team and the strong relationships we've built across the construction and consultancy sectors in the last 5 years.
Great conversations, vibrant energy, and plenty of memorable moments—a real a testament to the power of working together toward shared success. Your continued support means the world to us, and we’re proud to work alongside so many talented and passionate professionals.

As a celebration of Enabl's 5 years, the Enabl Ramble stretched a bit further afield this year to the Lake District and more specifically Fairfield Horseshoe which circles along the natural ridge around Rydal Valley with stunning views over Windermere. The weather fantastic and was a great opportunity for catch up with close co-consultants and clients across the business both on the walk and afterwards over some well earned beverages. We look forward to what next year's event brings!
