The site, the scheme & what we did
Centric House was first acquired by Cert Property in 2018, located in the Liverpool City Centre district of Moorfields, conveniently located in close proximity to Moorfields train station. The proposed scheme brings forward 46 thoughtfully designed apartments catering to professionals and couples seeking a modern urban lifestyle in Liverpool. The project represents Cert's first in Liverpool.
The proposal involves the retention of the buildings structure and facade whilst formulating a bespoke architectural response to the existing heritage features whilst undertaking internal renovations to accommodate a variety of apartment types. The conversion of the building will result in an uplift in terms of sustainability and accessibility standards, including efforts to reduce embodied carbon, enhance operational efficiency and improve the overall building fabric including high quality M&E systems.

Here's how we helped!
Enabl were appointed across both the Planning and Project Cost Management divisions of the business. We provided strategic advice and managed multiple planning applications for the residential conversion, engaging with the Local Planning Authority at every stage of the process.
Acting as project manager, we coordinated the co-consultant team to commission the necessary technical reports, while working closely with the architect to ensure the design respected and enhanced the building’s existing façade heritage features.
Our role encompassed cost management throughout the project’s duration, overseeing tendering and procurement, and delivering comprehensive Employer’s Agent services to safeguard quality, budget, and programme.
