Situated along the main arterial route into Central Manchester, Oscar House stands proud with a unique design that differentiates itself from other luxury apartments in the surrounding area. Working alongside our consultant partner, we acted as Employers Agent and Cost Manager effectively managing the challenging circumstances that presented themselves through a period of hyperinflation, material shortages and Fire Regulation changes that were being captured as works continued onsite.

Construction took place during the early days of the COVID 19 outbreak where there were many challenges facing contractors who were being severely impacted by the ever changing circumstances facing the industry. On a fixed price contract, we understood the issues and how vital it was to assist with identifying solutions and working with them to identify packages and changes that could drive value for the client and mitigate programme delays.

It is within proximity to both Manchester City Centre and MediaCity, the home of the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), through bus links and is less than 5-minute walk to the tram that links the two. An exciting area benefitting from redevelopment is creating a new community on the edge of the city.
